Operates tractors and earth moving equipment including materials around warehouses, storage yards, construction sites or similar locations specializing in detecting power lines and other underground hazards.
Tractor Operator - Extended Year - Responsibilities
Performs lawn maintenance.
Moves levers and controls that operate lifting devices to load, unload, transport and stack materials.
Positions lifting devices under, over or around loaded pallets, skids and boxes. Secures material or products for transport to designated areas.
Operates equipment in a proper and safe manner.
Performs routine maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment, such as cleaning, lubricating, recharging batteries, fueling, or replacing liquefied-gas tank.
Other duties as assigned.

-Work and tasks are often straightforward, routine, structured and guided by established policies and procedures. Little, if any, independent judgment is required, outside of making basic choices in the selection and application of established methods. The job receives frequent, ongoing supervision.

-Work involves frequent exposure to unpleasant elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, loud noise, chemicals, etc. -Ability to carry and/or lift up to 15 to 44 pounds.
