Safety Manager

Location:

Our client is seeking a Safety Manager to lead safety strategy, compliance, and culture across a high‑volume, USDA‑regulated food manufacturing environment. This role drives proactive risk reduction, regulatory excellence, and continuous improvement to protect every associate.

Responsibilities:

\n
• Lead Safety Culture across plant operations through coaching, accountability, and visible engagement.
\n
• Ensure OSHA/USDA Compliance with audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
\n
• Manage Risk Programs including hazard assessments, ergonomics, incident investigations, and JSA.
\n
• Deliver Training for LOTO, PPE, RTE, emergency response, and frontline/leadership development.
\n
• Drive Continuous Improvement to strengthen safety KPIs and reduce operational risk.
\n
• Own Safety Metrics with data analysis, reporting, and trend‑based action plans.
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• 4–7+ years of safety leadership in food manufacturing or USDA‑regulated operations.
\n
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, HACCP, GMP, RTE.
\n
• Proven ability to influence at all levels and lead safety in fast‑paced production environments.
\n
• CSP/ASP/CHMM preferred.
\n
