Remote Diagnostic Radiologist - Overnight and Weekend Coverage

GD Resources LLC is seeking qualified Diagnostic Radiologists for a proposed teleradiology team supporting VA medical centers in Pennsylvania and Delaware. Physicians will remotely interpret imaging studies, deliver final signed reports, and communicate urgent findings directly to treating providers.
Responsibilities
Interpret CT/CTA, X-ray, MRI/MRA, and ultrasound examinations within granted clinical privileges.
Review patient history and relevant prior studies to produce accurate, complete diagnostic reports.
Meet required reporting deadlines, including 45 60 minutes for most STAT studies.
Provide expedited stroke interpretations, with a verbal callback within 15 minutes and a final report within 30 minutes.
Communicate critical findings promptly, obtain verbal readback, and document notification.
Consult with VA clinicians and technologists regarding imaging protocols and interpretation questions.
Participate in peer review, quality improvement, required training, and secure handling of patient information.
Qualifications
MD or DO with completed Diagnostic Radiology residency.
ABR or AOBR board certification or board eligibility. Board certification is required for designated weekend and holiday coverage positions.
Active, unrestricted medical license appropriate to the reading location and facilities served.
At least two years of post-training diagnostic radiology experience; three years preferred.
Ability to obtain VA credentialing, privileging, required background clearance, and secure system access before starting.
Professional malpractice coverage of at least $1 million per occurrence.
All services must be performed from within the United States.
Prior VA teleradiology experience and familiarity with CPRS, VistA Imaging, Philips Intellispace PACS, or Nuance PowerScribe are preferred. Relevant subspecialty training is desirable; physicians will interpret only examinations within their approved privileges. Residents are not eligible.
Schedule
Rotating assignments will cover:
Weekday overnight hours: 8:00 PM 7:30 AM Eastern Time .
Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays: 24-hour coverage divided among scheduled shifts .
Physicians must remain available throughout assigned shifts. The full overnight coverage window may be divided between physicians. Individual schedules, shift lengths, and weekly hours will be agreed before hiring, with a target of up to 40 scheduled hours per week. Actual hours depend on the final staffing plan and contract award.
